2021 Regional Training, VILT, Seminars, and Events

Please note that CCC Regional trainings are intended specifically for CCC End Users.

2021 CCC Regional Training will be offered on-demand at a regional location for 6 or more attendees. A Virtual Instructor-Led Regional Training option can also be offered.

General Regional Training Agenda 

Option1: 3 Days

Day 1 – Surge and Anti-Surge Control

  • Characteristics and consequences
  • Surge detection techniques
  • Controller operating principles
  • Anti-Surge Control Simulation

Day 2 – Performance & Load Sharing Control

  • Specialized Performance control functions
  • Performance Controller operations principles
  • Start up/shutdown sequence
  • Load Sharing / Load balancing

Day 3 – Controller Maintenance and Basic Configuration

  • Hardware system overview
  • Engineering utilities introduction including Configurator
  • Parameters grouping and modification
  • Troubleshooting and analysis
  • TrainView operator interface

Option2: 4 Days

Day 4 – Includes all 3-day topics plus one day of Advanced Tuning and Surge Testing 

  • Tuning control system theories
  • Specific Tuning techniques from anti-surge, load sharing applications and decoupling tuning
  • Surge Testing

Note: This additional 4th day training will not qualify trainees to surge test compressors, or tune control loops in the absence of a qualified CCC Field Engineer.

There will be ample opportunity during our interactive class time to discuss your Turbomachinery applications with the CCC specialist. Participants are encouraged to share along their own P&ID's for review and discussion.
